Black Friday is a moment many shoppers mark in the diary to enjoy a shopping spree – or start (and potentially finish) their Christmas shopping.
The shopping event always falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which means this year it is on 27 November, while Cyber Monday is just a few days later on 30 November.
However, this year things look a little different – and not just because lockdown means we’ll be doing all our Black Friday shopping online.
Many retailers are not waiting until 27 November to launch their deals and slash prices on products for the one day, or Black Friday weekend. Instead, they have started discounting products weeks in advance of the hotly anticipated day.
Whether you are looking to splash out on beauty and skincare products, fashion, jewellery and accessories, homeware, furniture or electrical gadgets, there are bargains to be found.

Shop the best early Black Friday deals
Amazon launched its early Black Friday sale on 26 October, and it will come to an end on 19 November, before ramping up the discounts again on 27 November. Shoppers can get their hands on a vast array of products that are now half price, from electrical gadgets to beauty buys and Christmas gifts.

There are hundreds of offers available at John Lewis & Partners. There is 20% off womenswear and menswear, as well as sports and leisure items. There are also unmissable deals on beauty, home, furniture and garden products too.

The electrical company is offering customers huge discounts on more than 400 items, with deals on TVs, laptops, headphones, washing machines, fridge freezers, fitness trackers and smart watches.
Very has launched its early Black Friday sale, with more than 12,000 products reduced in price. From homeware, kitchen appliances and gadgets, to fashion and gifting, among other essentials too, there is up to £700 worth of savings to be had on select items.
eBay has launched a pre-Black Friday sale with up to 30% off selected items, such as electricals, home essentials and beauty. However, shoppers will have to act quick as the early deals are available for a limited time and will end on 12 November.
