Few things are quite as personal in beauty as the quest to find the perfect fragrance. With such a vast fragrance marketplace, it can become tiresome to find an option that leaves a lasting impression. Through our journeys to find something suitable to our sensory preferences, we’ve fortunately found some options worth buying again and again whether it be a signature scent or a current obsession.

Below, 16 Vogue editors reveal the perfumes and colognes they can’t stop wearing. From timeless classics to alluring innovations, read on to discover more fragrances to add to your ever-changing fragrance collection.

Someone on the street stops me to ask what kind of perfume I’m wearing at least once a week, no exaggeration! I swear by Yves Saint Laurent Libre and don’t see myself straying from this bold scent any time soon.

Right now, I’m obsessed with Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s really tough to explain what the universally flattering fragrance smells like, but if I had to put the smell in words, I’d say it’s a sweet yet soft, airy scent that continuously brings in compliments. It would take me all day to explain the number of people who constantly stop me to ask me what perfume I’m wearing.

I rarely wear cologne, but when I do, it’s because I’m fully at ease. I wear it during times when I’m switched off from the rest of the world and truly enjoying a moment, or getaway. This scent reminds me of the easiness of the summertime. It’s subtle but sexy and sporty at the same time. When I wear it, it feels as though I’m fully leaning into utter indulgence.

For daytime, I reach for Frédéric Malle’s Bigarade Concentree. It is dominated by bitter orange, which is a nostalgic scent for me having grown up visiting central Florida. As soon as we neared my family’s home, my siblings and I would stick our heads out the window and breathe in the intoxicating scent of the orange groves—Frédéric Malle’s fragrance evokes that memory. But since it is so fresh, I prefer a richer scent like Sigil’s Anima Mundi at night. It smells of smoky roses and I never tire of it.

I have never been the type to have a signature scent or wear perfume every day so I prefer to keep discovery sets from fragrance brands around in my vanity so I can spritz a little on whenever I feel like it. For reasons I don’t have the answers to, I haven’t committed to any particular scent for myself. I like to keep it a surprise I guess! Plus the tiny size is perfect for traveling!

I love this classic fragrance from Chloé. It’s a fresh rosy floral scent that’s perfect for everyday use and not overpowering in the least. Trust me, this one is a keeper.

I currently have two go-to scents. First up is a fan favorite and its none other than Mojave Ghost by Byredo. Honestly, I don’t think I will ever get tired of this scent. More recently, I’ve been wearing Diptyque’s floral and flirty scent Eau Rose. I love how light and easy the smell is, it’s not too overpowering!

I tend to lean towards muskier scents but this fruity (yet not too sweet) fragrance from Malin + Goetz has been in my rotation nonstop for the past month. Top notes of mara strawberry and bergamot mix with jasmine and cedarwood to create a fresh, crisp scent that becomes slightly heavier and moodier throughout the day, making it a great scent to transition from day to night.

I love spritzing Margiela’s Jazz Club fragrance for a night out—and it’s by far my most complimented scent from strangers. It has sweet notes of honey and woody notes of cigar boxes. As for Gucci’s The Last Day of Summer, I love this breezy, forest-inspired scent for the summer. There are notes of cedarwood, cypress, nutmeg, patchouli, and vetiver. It’s woodsy, yet fresh and light at the same time.

I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect rose scent and currently, I am oscillating between Byredo’s Rose Noir for my day scent, it is a bit light and feminine on me and I use Aesop’s Rōzu for a musky evening scent.

Gucci Guilty has become my go-to perfume because it has a very airy and sensual scent that lasts all day and can be worn in any setting. Absolutely love it!

I’m always sniffing around “fashion people” to see what’s next—one time during Paris Fashion Week, I trailed a dude in head-to-toe Balenciaga for several blocks trying to place his scent–then smelled it again at F1 on Mateo designer Matthew Harris, who revealed that it’s Matière Premiere’s Falcon Leather Eau de Parfum. I like scouting with Vogue-alum and Seek founder Sara Klausing because she’s tapped into that level of insider knowledge—like being the first to pinpoint Dior’s Bois d’Argent (which she shares with her beau—truly genderless) as a secret scent that “people don’t want to tell you they wear” to, you know, preserve its exclusivity. I love its clean incense notes that you can’t quite place—I’ve ordered it in every format now, even hand wash. We also met with Francis Kurkdjian together in his Paris office (I can’t stop telling everyone about his indoor orange tree!?) years before his Baccarat Rouge fragrance became as famous as its wearers. This Paris fashion week, though, I’m looking forward to celebrating Carine Roitfeld’s new scent at her Kith Paris party—the pebble-shaped flacon appeals to me, and I’m always interested in a new take on patchouli.

I first tried out Gypsy Water at the perfume counter and walked away due to the hefty price tag. But I couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful yet mellow vanilla, citrusy, and sandalwood scent that I had to return back to Nordstrom the following day to immediately purchase it. They also have a roll-on perfumed oil version of it as well, which I love as I often find spray-based perfumes smelling very alcohol-like on me.

I’ve been wearing YSL’s Black Opium for years! It became my all-time go-to rather quickly, and I love to spritz it year-round. With an intoxicating combination of rich caffeine, sweet vanilla, and fresh flowers, it’s the perfect balance of sensual and edgy—ideal to take with you day to night, no matter the occasion.

I have worn Chloé’s Eau de Parfum since high school, and it has become something of a signature for me. Whenever I reunite with someone I haven’t seen for a while they always comment on how happy they are that I still use the same perfume! I have dabbled with other fragrances in the past, but keep coming back to my dear Chloé!

In a rather short span of time, I went from not having a go-to scent to having several—though I’m not sure I’ve reached that “signature” status just yet. Whether I’m running errands, headed to work events, or a night out, I gravitate towards mood-boosting fragrances—often layering two options for the perfect mix. I adore Atelier Cologne’s Clementine California for a fruity fragrance with a hint of sweetness that reminds me of summer. Next, I can’t get enough of Tom Ford’s Rose de Chine. I typically don’t go for floral fragrances, but this one has the perfect warm, sensual contrast.
