CapU’s fall lineup features a reimagining of the Grateful Dead’s American Beauty album at Kay Meek Arts Centre

Capilano University just announced the lineup for its slide season of concert events, and my eyes were being drawn to one gig in particular.

October 11 and 12 at the Kay Meek Arts Centre will see the reimagining of the Grateful Dead’s legendary 1970 album American Splendor.

In scenario you forgot, that is the 1 made up of such stellar ditties as “Box of Rain”, “Good friend of the Devil”, and “Sugar Magnolia”–and those are just the initial three tracks!
