CHANEL Rouge Allure L’Extrait High Intensity Lip Colour

[ad_1]

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m really happy to see refillable lipsticks becoming more mainstream. Eventually, I think they’ll almost all become so but it takes a while to deal with componentry changes without altering the design too much. Once you’ve bought your lipstick you can buy any refills you want without ever having to re-buy the original case too. Not sure how well I’d hold up using that rule but it’s an option. I had a bit of a panic once I’d taken the refills out of the cases that I hadn’t recorded the colours but they’re actually written on the side (whew!) – warning you now, you’ll either need a magnifying glass or the sight of an eagle.

The lipsticks are a juicy finish (yay) and they’re pigment packed – a full intent lipstick. For anyone who says the difference between high street and luxury make up is ever decreasing just needs to slide this texture along their arm to feel exactly why it’s luxury. The full colour glides on in one whispery sweep. And, that’s no disrespect to other brands – maybe it’s like a wool sweater and a cashmere sweater; they’re both lovely and stylish but one just feels a bit better (and costs more!).

There are 20 shades of CHANEL Rouge Allure L’Extrait High Intensity Lip Colour – all the shades I have here are quite deep so one go-around would be plenty for me. Although the colours are big, the feel on the lip is light and hydrating using ume oil which til this day I had never heard of – it’s a name for Japanese blossoms.

I’ve done them in two lights because some of these colours only have a hair’s breadth apart. From bottom to top: Corail Sanguin, Rouge Excessif, Rose Supreme, Rouge Conquerant and Brun Affirme. So, the lipsticks are £46 and the refills are £34. You can find everything HERE. These feel like the absolute treat they are and a win for anyone who likes a fully charged colour on their lips.
